Edie Goldberg, Ph.D. is the Founder & President of E.L. Goldberg & Associates. She is a globally recognized keynote speaker and expert in talent management and the future of work.

She works with companies to design human resources strategies and processes to attract, engage, develop, and retain employees, and drive organizational performance. 

Prior to starting her own firm over 25 years ago, Dr. Goldberg was a Global Thought Leader in the Human Capital Practice at Towers Perrin and was a business unit manager for a boutique management consulting firm. In addition to being the co-author of Performance Enablement, she is the co-author of The Inside Gig: How Sharing Untapped Talent Across Boundaries Unleashes Organizational Capacity (Lifetree Media, 2020) and the author of Scenario Planning: The Secret Sauce to Making Strategic Workforce Planning Agile, a chapter in Strategic Planning: Case Studies and New Directions (Oxford University Press, 2024).  She has published and presented at numerous conferences on the future of work, internal talent mobility, performance management, building management capability, career management, and succession planning. 

Edie earned her Ph.D. in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from the University of Albany, State University of New York, and her B.A. and M.S. from San Diego State University.   She is a Fellow of the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology. She is the Past Chair of the SHRM Foundation Board of Directors, HR People + Strategy (HRPS, now SHRM’s Executive Network), and the California HR Strategy Forum (HRSF).  She is the recipient of the HRPS Lifetime Achievement Award for contributions made to the HR profession.  She also serves on the advisory board of several HR Technology companies.
